Students

We welcome students with a genuine interest in farm work

Several of our current vets practised with us while they were students. We prefer to build relationships and welcome students early in their courses who will return several times and get more hands on experience within Craven Farm Vets as their academic knowledge grows.

Joining in the out-of-hours rota helps give you a taste of the vigours of practice life. We encourage student to complete projects and present their outcomes whilst they are with us.

Please note that we do very little horse work and recommend you look elsewhere if you are interested in seeing equine work.
